Barcelona were below their best against PSV, but a magnificent performance from Lionel Messi saw them run out 4-0 winners.

Lionel Messi scored a marvellous hat-trick as Barcelona got their Champions League campaign up and running with a 4-0 win over PSV at Camp Nou.

He is named Champions League Player of the Week after seeing off competitions from Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, Liverpool’s James Milner and Lyon’s Nabil Fekir.
